Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria)

A wonderful tall native plant, perfect for a medium to large pond or lake. Due to their height, these free flowering plants can be seen from some distance. Producing tall pinky purple blooms over the summer.

Specific Plant Care:
Little maintenance is required. Trim to tidy but leave foliage to die back naturally to encourage winter bud formation.

NOTE: The plant we supply will be young and small and not look very much, but once planted in warmer water will grow fast.

You can reduce the depths of your margins by sitting the planting baskets on concrete blocks or similar.

You will receive a small young plant around 4" to 6" long, with some leaves and will be sent in it's rooted form to save on postal costs. It will require potting on receipt.
